I am currently an Applied Scientist Intern on the Navigation team at Amazon Frontier AI & Robotics (FAR), working with Prof. Chen Feng. I received my M.S. in ECE from Carnegie Mellon University, where I worked on vision-language robot perception at the AirLab, and my B.S. in ECE with a CS minor from NYU Tandon, where I worked with Prof. Chen Feng at the AI4CE Lab and with Dr. Shuo Chen on neuroscience. My current research focuses on robot perception, mapping, and navigation.
Experience
Research on robot perception and navigation.
Built the VLM query pipeline for visual-language-action experiments and LLM-based instance-level object queries over scene graphs (SuperMap).
Built a progression/regression testing toolkit for the on-vehicle traffic-light detection pipeline; AV image data collection, annotation and label QA.
Automated retainer-mesh processing for 3D printing (30 s manual → 2 s per model); 2D/3D segmentation models that made CBCT-to-panoramic conversion 90% faster.
Built the MARS autonomous-driving dataset with May Mobility; multi-session LiDAR SLAM (Chain-SLAM); VLM fine-tuning for pose estimation; 3D Gaussian splatting.
Closed-loop animal-behavior rig (C, MATLAB, Bonsai, DeepLabCut); Plexon neural data acquisition and LFP / behavior analysis.
